If theres one place to go.... David and the rest of the staff at The Ink Lab have got the art down cold. David has done alot of work on my wife and I plus several friends. I've alawys recomended their shop. If your looking for traditional or custom work look no further than The Ink Lab.

Best Tattoo shop in town. I have had three tattoos done at Ink Lab and I will never go anywhere else. David Dettloff is a fantastic artist, and his original designs are always exactly what I want. The shop is clean and the staff is friendly, and I actually look forward to letting David stick needles in my flesh. I have had work done at other shops in the past, but David is my choice for any future work. Now I just have to come up with the money...

awesomeawesome. Charlie Mendez has done 4 of my 5 tattoos. I have two beautiful hearts on my forearms; i came in with a picture of one and an idea of the other. Charlie drew up the heart with an incredible design. He is very personal and easy to get along with. I also got two sugar skulls, and knowing Charlie's love for skulls, I knew he'd make them to be awesome. He is always willing to take time and he works so well with colors and his prices are super reasonable. I really recommend Charlie Mendez, especially if you're looking for a long term tattoo artist. We even ordered Galactic Pizza because we stayed late to finish.

Great artists, craftsmanship, and camaraderie. I have a total of 4 tattoos done by David from the Ink Lab and, with 2+ more to do in the future, it's still the place I would go back to exclusively. I know I'm being taken care of and the quality is first-rate, plus the value of what I get for what I pay is very worth it.

Great ink, great service.. I got my entire back done by Charlie at the Ink Lab. Every time i went in there I was treated with respect and all of my questions were taken seriously and i was given straight forward answers. The shop was always clean and the staff friendly and professional. Most importantly I LOVE MY TATTOO i have had nothing but positive feedback about it. If you want a awesome tattoo done by a professional artist who treats you with respect go to the INK LAB.

Very Nice. Good Quality. I must say that I give the ink lab 5 stars. When I first walked in I noticed it to be really clean, friendly. I would recommend people get their tattoos done their. The artist I had is name is Charlie Mendez I found him to be very nice and friendly. He also did a wonderful job on my first tattoo that I had gotten.

Ink Lab Minneapolis, The only place to get tattooed. While browsing the web, I came across a beautiful photo of a tattoo. The artist was David Dettloff who is the owner of the Ink Lab. I loved his work so much that i traveled from Pittsburgh PA to Minneapolis to have him do a cover up for me on my ankle. The outcome was and is perfection. I have wanted to have more work done but because David is the only person i will have work on me, I have been unable todo so because of geography.

I thought the shop was fantastic at distracting me from the pain of the tattoo due to all the interesting things to look at and the staff was warm and friendly. I will go back again only this time I wont go in the winter and get stuck in a snowstorm again :)

I DO NOT recommend. Charlie is no good. I DO NOT recommend the INK LAB. Charlie did my tattoo and it was horrible! I went back to get it worked on and he was very rude about it, as well as other artists that were in the shop. I had to go to another place to get my tattoo fixed. They are very overpriced and unprofessional. I would definitely go somewhere else. Take my advice.

Go there for piercings and LEAVE for the tattoos.. Ink Lab gets 2 stars simply because John is an amazing piercer... Yes, it hurts, but he is awesome. The reason why the rating is so low is the tattoo service. I went in to get a tattoo, simple black lettering but in the style that it was hand written in as it has INCREDIBLY special meaning.

The design was what I wanted except with all of the personal touches that made it special to me. To follow this cheapened version of the design I was quoted 30 percent more than I was expecting to pay. I ended up going to another place and paid what I wanted AND got a perfect replica of what I wanted.

If you want inflated prices for limp designs, don't hesitate.

Amazing Artists!. I brought in a photograph for Ink Lab to work with and they produced a masterpiece! Simply stated, they helped me capture a memory like a photograph. Thank you guys.
