Hideous and comical beyond belief. We discovered the hard way :

At Pepitos on Chicago Ave. South in Minneapolis, The most hideously comical thing on Tuesday Nights

is not ' who is on stage ' . . . it's the FOOD . . . and extreme lack of quality therof :

Oh where has your average joe hamburger

become three times as good as the Mexican food in a MEXICAN RESTAURANT ?

. . . the jo jo fries are barely plural.

answer : Pepitos Mexican Rest. . . .

The six-fifty egg-sized topless potato registers a 9 on the mo's scale of hardness.

The burrito deluxe is 100% ungardnished and 100% microwaved to death.

Not bad if you're in the neighborhood. Good food, but I recommend eating it at the deli..even in the short five minutes it takes me to get it home, the tacos ond nachos get stone cold, and lose a lot of appeal! A little overpriced, too, but definitely yummy.

Too Greasy!. I ordered a grilled veggie quesadilla and my husband ordered a veggie burrito. We didn't realize that "grilled" meant soaked in oil and then smothered in cheese. I think we will stick to Chipotle from now on!

great mexican bite. I went there with some friends to get a quick bite of food, it was prepared quickly and tasted excellent. The prices are a little high($6 for 2 tacos), but it is near uptown so its understandable. Go there if you want good mexican food and a festive environment.
