Unaccomodating, Unfriendly. My mother spend a copious amount at this store on gifts for my one-year old. One dress did not fit and I needed to return it to the store. It still had all the original store tags, had never been worn, was purchased within 2 weeks prior and was still stocked and shelved at the store. My mother could not find a receipt, but could furnish the credit card number used to pay for the dress. The clerk refused to exchange it under any circumstances; would not look up the purchase by credit card number, or help in any other way. She told me I could call the owner with complaints. I had three very young children with me and she could not have been less sympathetic. Now I am the proud owner of an over-priced ill-fitted dress.

Attitude adjustment needed. This is an adorable store but their over the phone service customer service needs major improvement!

Placed a call to the store today & was immediately asked if they could place me on hold. I agreed. The sales employee let me know that if the phone hung up on me I was to call back. Umm okay?

I was hung up on and called back. I let the employee know that, "Yes, in fact I was hung up on while on hold." She then rudely said, "Can I call you back" Excuse me? What? I understand they are a small store and were most likely busy when I called but the treatment was sub-bar for a designer children's boutique. I would have rather been frustrated with the phone ringing & ringing then be placed on hold, hung up on and then rudely asked if I could be called back.

Bummer experience. Like other reviewers have pointed out there are plenty of other Mpls children's boutique clothing stores that have much friendlier sales people. Goodnight Moon=FAIL

Great Clothes - Bad Service. I just don't understand why the service here is so bad. These ladies are surrounded by beautiful clothes, and shoppers who are looking for something cute for baby's and kids. I like to buy Tea Collection but I will drive up to Pacifier (out of my way) instead of going here because I feel so uncomfortable in this store. I am surprised that with the other negative reviews (and reputation) that nothing has changed. I went here again the other day (because it is much more convenient) but came out with one purchase and will buy my other items elsewhere. You would think in this economy that customer service would be top priority. Like I said before - I do not shop here because of the service - too bad because it has great clothes.

Too bad about the attitude..... Nice enough selection, about what you would expect from this type of store. Unfortunately, the salespeople have the attitude that frequently seems to go with location. It is as if they believe that by being friendly and helpful, they might attract (OH MY GOSH!) PEOPLE WITHOUT MONEY!!!!! The horror! I have plenty of money to spend and two adorable little girls on whom I love to spend it, as well as lots of friends with little kids, but I prefer to spend my money where everyone is treated with warmth and respect.

Never Again. We had money to spend and should not have spent it in their store. I brought two friends in from out of town and have never been treated so poorly by shop clerks in my life. I literally witnessed them rolling their eyes at my dear friends who were looking at sale items; items which were advertised on the 'SALE' sign outside. Not only that but when we asked for a gift box on a $40 purchase, it was as though we asked to part the water on Lake Harriet; "We don't gift wrap sale items!". This is so not about gift wrap though. It must be a sad life to treat others with such an attitude. One of my friends, a reviewer for children's 'hot items' or 'must haves' will make note of this. We visited 5 children's stores that day, so maybe you should try Peapods, Pacifier or Baby Grand instead.

BEAUTIFUL CLOTHES....GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I LOVE this store!!!! Of all the children's stores in the twin cities, this is by far my favorite. The clothes

are unique and beautiful.... and the customer service is wonderful. ( The salesperson even entertained

my child so I could shop without distraction!) The store is baby friendly (i.e. you can move around

with a stroller....and my toddler loved the play table). Check this store out!

THE TWIN CITIES FINEST!!. My experience at Goodnight Moon was unbelievable. Aside from the phenomenal assortment of unique clothing, the customer service was impecable. So much so that the owner went of her way to accomodate several special orders. I've since been back several times and will continue shopping there until my children out grow the store!

Cute clothes, horrible service.. I gave this store a rating of "below average" simply on the basis that the few times I have gone in, the salespeople are completely unhelpful and indifferent to my presence. At one point, I was trying to manage my 3 month old son, who was crying, and attempting to find a size. Another customer ended up asking me if I needed help while the salesperson sat at the register. The clothing is adorable and the store carries many items that I would have difficulty finding anywhere else in the Twin Cities. I would like to shop there more but if not for their poor customer service.

User review by jennilh123. The saleslady was not friendly at all. I don't think we were ever greeted and when asked how much a bonnet was she replied it went with a set. She didn't offer any additional help or the price of the set and stayed behind the counter the whole time. She didn't deserve our business.
