What People Are Saying About Pearson's Edina Restaurant

In Short – For more than two decades this popular Edina restaurant has pleased a faithful clientele of friends and families. The lunch counter with booths is the place for a quick bite, but most folks opt for the two tastefully furnished dining rooms, where wood paneling, soft carpets and subdued lighting encourage conversation. The mainstay is simple foods, simply prepared like roast beef and chicken dishes. The well-rounded kids' menu features spaghetti, fish, baked chicken and pancakes. –
Editor's Tips
- Where to Sit:
- On dreary days, a fireside table does wonders for the soul.
- The Extras:
- Save room if you can for a slice of home-baked pie--apple, pumpkin, pecan and chocolate--or strawberry shortcake, smothered with plump, juicy fruit.
Ovpriced and overrated

Sat at the counter and was surprised at the prices. Everything in there is overpriced. Too bad that they don't match the price with the type of service you would expect at a pricey restaurant.
I saw my order go up in the window and it sat, and sat and sat. My server was no where to be seen and none of the other servers even considered helping to pick up the slack by carrying my order 5 feet so I could eat. I had a cold ten dollar Reuben sandwich that I could have gotten elsewhere much quicker for much less money and much better tasting.
- Pros: Parking
- Cons: Overpriced and horrible service
A true family place.

This place brings so many memories! I have been going here with my grandparents for over 15 years! After my grandfather passed away, we held a dinner party here for 20 people it was wonderfull everone had a "meatball sandwich" in honor of him and his favorite dish. Some of the reviews say it is for old people, but that just adds to the quiet dinning experience. I truely love this place and will always go here!
- Pros: Very wonderfull staff, food ,beautiful decor
- Cons: none
High Quality Value!

If you like affordable, high quality meals with taste and portions, Pearson's is an excellent place to go. The service is great, you will not be rushed, and it is easy to carry on a conversation with family members and friends. The decor is retro elegant. There is something on the menu for everyone. If you are tired of meals that consist of a wafer and a medallion, visit Pearson's. You will be satsified with the price, quality, portion and presentation of the food.
Great homemade food! Priced to high!

The food was great! The patty melt was done just right and served HOT! My friend had the french dip and was great. The food is home made. The desserts are very good too.
The bad thing is the menu is WAY OVERPRICED! A turkey dinner is $18.00! Swedish meatballs are $17.00
and a 1/2 order is $16.00? What is the point of a 1/2 order? They charge $2.00 for french fries if you want them with your sandwich. The sandwiches are $10.00 without fries only chips.
I don't know who is in charge of the prices but if they don't make them more reasonable nobody is going to eat there.
- Pros: Food is homemade-Great desserts
- Cons: Way overpriced!
Big Burger Blues

I'm sitting in Tennessee wanting a Paul Pearson's BigBurger! Wish I could find a way to have one shipped immediately.
- Pros: Nobody else makes a BigBurger! Love the tarter sauce!
- Cons: Not available in Tennessee
