After reading the previous review, I decided to go to the Bead Monkey to check it out. WELL . . . . this is a Saturday, they have a sale going on, but I was offered help by three different sales clerks during the hour I was there!!! They were VERY helpful (I am a new beader!) and gave lots of tips and how-to information so my project could be well-made and useful. The selection of beads and supplies is WONDERFUL with lots of specialty items. The service and friendliness of the staff along with the great selection are reasons that will keep me coming back. LOVE THAT STORE!!!

I recently went to the Bead Monkey looking for ideas to help make a bracelet. I found there selection to be amazing...so many choices. I was very happy with the assortment of choices. I wasn't exactly sure what I was trying to put together so I asked for suggestions from the staff. I found them to be helpful at a minimum but extremely rude and arrogant. Perhaps it's a reflection of where the store is located. Nonetheless, be prepared if you are in need of creative helpful ideas the bead monkey may not be your best place to go. There are plenty of other quality bead shops with staff that enjoy sharing ideas and helping. After I made my purchase at the Bead Monkey I felt uneasy because I really wish that I didn't give them my money and had gone somewhere else where the purchase would have been appreciated.
