Disgusting Filthy cab. Sunday March 16, 2008. The cab arrived promptly, but when we got inside the cab it was filthy and the smell was disgusting. There was dirt and garbage. The smell was so bad that by the end of the ride I was breathing into my hands. I did not want to touch anything. The leather seats and doors had black soil everywhere. I was glad I had been wearing jeans and an older leather jacket as I do not think I would of gotten in had I been wearing dress cloths. The drivers seat was so far back and broken down I was forced to sit on the middle bump with my feet and legs sharing the floor space on the back passenger side with my husband. The driver mirrored the vehicle. We have been in cleaner cabs in the ghettos. This company must not have any standards, it was the worst cab I have ever ridden in. Third world countries have more pride then what we experienced. Again two words: Filthy and Disgusting!!
horrible. This is the second time I have waited over three hours to get 4 miles away. I always tip well and have taken this cab service for about a year numerous times. This past four months service has been horrible if you can even get a cab. I am still waiting it it almost two in the morning and I called ahead of time at ten thirty tonight.
Pretty bad experience.... In the two years I have been in Mpls, I have had pretty good luck with this company...Until today...Two hour + wait...Everytime I called to find out what the hell the deal was, I was told something different..."Cab # so and so is on its way"..."There are no cabs in your area, but we're getting one out there"..."There is no record of your order"...etc, etc...Quite the bad experience...
Bad Taxi Company. This cab company is by far the worst cab company to order a taxi from. I ordered taxi on multiple occasions from this green white suburban whatever they call themselves and it was horrible experience let me tell ya. First when I ordered a taxi I was told it would be there in 15-20 minutes. What a sham ! I called 20 minutes later and they said that no one picked my order up yet and they had no idea when a taxi was coming !! another 20 minutes passed and I called again this time I wanted an explanation and they transfered me to a dispatcher and he just growled and said that the wait would be another half hour or so cause where I was going was not that far and that it was hard to get a cab to me ! Then he said he didnt like my attitude and that I should call a different cab company. Wow !! What a bunch of jerks. I wouldnt recommend this cab company to anyone else.
The worst cheapest evilest cab company in the Twin Cities. This Taxi cab company is absolutely the worst cab company in town ! The way that they have things operating there is horrible ! All that this company cares about is if their drivers pay their lease on time, as long as they do that the drivers are independent contractors and they can do whatever the hell they want to the customers and they will not fire or discipline drivers ! All of the people in the call center do not care about their customers at all and no body does anything all the way up to the owner.
Pricing 20-25% higher than quoted. Beware, I was priced a 15 mile ride at $31 by dispatch but charged $40.12 by the driver, it did not appear that the driver took the shortest route as when I drove back from the area and used my GPS to guide me, I did not recognize the streets and it took me less time.
Driver SO late; Dispatchers SO Not Helpful!!.
I called today at 4:15 for a taxi pickup. After I spelled my street name three times, they told me a cab would pick me up in 5-20 minutes.
At 4:45, they gave me an ETA of 5 minutes.
At 5:00, I called again and said I was concerned that the driver needed directions. They wouldn't contact the driver; just told me that he should be there any minute.
At 5:15, the driver FINALLY showed up and said he had been driving around for the past 15 minutes. I asked why he didn't call the dispatcher and ask them to call me and he just bumbled and mumbled and had no answer.
Then, 30 minutes later, the driver shows up at my door again, saying that the dispatcher told him I had called back and ordered a cab again. What a laugh! No way am I EVER ordering another ride from this company.
Horrible cab company. I had a rude driver that was in a rush and yelled at me the whole ride and when it was time for me to exit the car, I was grabbing my crutches and still gathering my things and he peeled off with the door open and everything. A man ran over to see if I was ok. When I called to complain they said it was my word against his and he told them I yelled and swore at him the whole time. Stupid me, I didn't think to get the witnesses name. My cell phone was still in the car when he peeled off and they wouldn't replace it. When I called to complain, got passed around over the phone to at least 5 different people and then finally left a message on a voicemail. I used that cab company again after that and was told by other drivers that that particular driver had several complaints filed against but was never disciplined. Also had a driver who did 40 in a 55. He's slow as molasis and won't speed up for nothing.
NEVER CALL. I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for a taxi and called 3 times and they never came. They said that none of thier drivers "picked up the order." I would recommend calling another service or even driving before calling Suburban taxi.
