I stopped into this neighborhood salon for last minute tanning before a summer wedding. The staff was incredibly friendly and informative - especially for me - a non-tanner. They worked with me to find a tanning schedule which would be comfortable for me but also realistic for the results I wanted. If you have to tan, this is a very comfortable place to do so. No pressure and most importantly no snobbery.
Pros: easy access/parking, friendly staff, moderate price
Cons: is quaint bad? nah.
