The family-friendly chain is the third in a lineage of reasonably priced clothing stores (Banana Republic and the Gap are the older siblings). Huge, loft-like spaces and disco soundtracks make shopping here an upbeat experience. Men's, women's and children's jeans share space with khakis, T-shirts, sweaters, sleepwear, outerwear and seasonal items, such as ski hats, swimsuits and Halloween costumes.

Old Navy = unhappy. I get to become very unhappy when I am in a old navy store. Everyone is so demanding, I treat my shopping spree as a vacation for my job. I hate when people are very pushy. It is a very crowded store, no matter where I go. I will never shop at a old navy store ever again!

Too "Old Navy". I have to disagree with the notion that Old Navy is a great place for women to shop. Old Navy is good for young teenage girls and people who live somewhere where Old Navy has yet to open a store. The clothes there are ill-fitting and kind of cheap feeling. I nominate TJ Maxx instead. Where else can you find Donna Karan pants for 25.00!

Hardly!. I have never rated on any of these topics because I have no time but I had to on the category of best women's clothing shops, titles on MSN as "Where Chic Women Shop". I would definitely consider my friends and I to be chic and of great taste in clothes and I can definitely say that Old Navy is hardly one of the best shops or chic! Obviously it's good deals (never been but that's the shpeel I hear) but not a best store! If you have class, style and some money, I would hope you would go to one of our fabulous boutiques like Len Drusken, Josie Wert or Nordstrom's, Neiman's or Saks! Those are great shops for chic women. Let's not give people more reason to think we 're hokie mid-westerners ladies!
