Will always come here!. I have a Persian cat who when I got him, was extremely matted. I took him to get shaved and she was extraordinarilly kind and did a wonderful and thorough job. Shaigi, my cat, came from an abused home and has trust issues. I now bring him there regularly to get groomed and I don't feel comfortable with anyone else grooming him except her.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I wish I had read the reviews. This was the worst experience I've had in 10 years with grooming- the shop was so sketchy and dirty that I almost turned around to leave. I was told a time to pick her up, which I showed up to pick her up, and was rudely told it would be another hour or so. In the meantime, my dog was freaking out in a small kennel and clearly very scared. I told her no, I wanted my dog. She gave me a nasty look, was incredibly rude (no apologies) and said "she would still be the same price anyhow without the brushing". Do not go here and pay the extra $5 or $10 to go somewhere professional.

Excellent groomer. I have three dogs with totally different temperments and they all are happy to go to the Pup Tent. Previous goomers made them nervous, but Janine loves animals and they know it. She does an excellent job and I appreciate the fact that she checks them out health-wise. My ShiSzu has allergies and she is expecially gentle with him.

Good grooming experices. This was the first time I have had my dog groomed here. The owner was very nice with her, even though my dog was nervous. Very reasonable price and the grooming job looked terrific. We will definitely go back.

Acceptable work; unprofessional demeanor; no credit cards. This is a tiny, one-gal operation. I brought my cat there because it was near my house and the price was nice. When I came in the door, the owner was grooming a dog, and did not even look at me or say hello. The shop REEKS of tobacco smell, she obviously smokes cigarettes in that tiny room. The whole place is all-around shabby and dirty-looking. Note that she does not take credit cards. The work she did was satisfactory and inexpensive, but the unfriendliness and bad smell will keep me from returning. Price isn't everything!

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE!!. My experience at this shop was horrible. After telling her several times that my dog hated to have her toe nails trimmed and she may need a muzzle. When arrived to pick up my dog she told me off for approx. 5 minutes about how my dog almost bit her while she was trying to trim her toenails. My dog had a bad experience when she was young but is normally a sweet dog. While she was chewing me out she left another cute black lab in the sink. The dog didn't want to get down on its own and she got mad. She aggressively grabbed him out of the sink and threw the dog in the small kennel while still wet and said "i don't know what his problem is today, but he will listen". The dog was visablly shaking as was mine. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE. She should be shut down!! She seems nice during the first meeting but she really seems to loose it if she is frustrated or busy.

Excellent. I've been taking my dog to Pup Tent for a couple years now. Janine is friendly and does a great job. You get the kind of personal service that a big box chain store just can't provide.

User review by evad246. This groomer shaved my dog almost bald and left her with numerous cuts and scratches. The insides of her ears where she had plucked the fur completely scabbed over. The dog was very unhappy and miserable for days after due to her injuries. The dog also had a tick under her chin (from a visit to Wisconsin a few days earlier). After shaving the dog completely the groomer said nothing about the tick. She did not even call my attention to it, so I could take care of it myself.
