What People Are Saying About Dusty's Bar

In Short – This dingy saloon decorated with vintage bar signs and an abundance of brown isn't going for kitsch--this is the real, blue-collar deal. Which is just fine for the union-worker types (some of whom have been patrons since the 1950s) looking for a cold one. Weekdays are quiet except for the chatter of CNN, but the live, local bands on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights draw an eclectic mix of regulars and younger folks seeking working-class fun.
Editor's Tips
- On the Menu:
- Try their famous Dago sandwich--a burger made from Italian sausage--for $4.50.
Great little neighborhood bar

Good feel. Makes me wish i lived in the neighborhood. The kind of place where you can go, have a beer, and think to yourself, this is life at the turn of the millennium in middle America. Could be a lot worse.
- Pros: Lonesome Dan Kase on Thursdays .... for years
- Cons: Those dang bachelorette limo's always pulling up
It's a Small Bar and We Like It Like That

Looking for somewhere to drink (cheaply), converse (freely), and smoke (outdoorsly)? Dusty's is the answer. Blue-collar, unpretentious, and fondly referred to locally as a "hole in the wall", Dusty's is friendly, home-y, and has a small kitchen with surprisingly good chicken salad. Come particularly on the nights that Bill Patten and his guys are playing.
- Pros: Free music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Reasonable drink prices, decent juke box. Plenty of parking.
- Cons: Pretty small. If a limo full of screaming bachelorettes pulls up, it's a tight squeeze.
