U of M Great Clips-Horrific Experience. I recently had a horrific experience at this Great Clips. I went in for a simple hair cut and was told that my hair was dirty, and needed to buy salon shampoo to correct. When I told the stylist, that I wasn't interested in buying the shampoo, she became even more inconsiderate, and continued to "educate" me about my hair. I then explained that I would be more comfortable with a different stylist completing my hair cut, and she went ballistic. She refused to let another stylists complete my hair cut and let me leave the salon with wet hair. I have never been more mortified or humiliated in my life and will tell EVERYONE that I know NEVER to visit that location. Needless to say, I walked over to HCX in dinkytown and was very pleased with the service I received there.
