Integrity. I've been a customer since 1984. The mechanics are extremely skilled. Their honesty and integrity gives me tremendous peace-of-mind! I highly recommend Mercil's Campus Auto Repair. Besides, it's a local, family-owned business (75 years and counting in the U of M's Stadium Village).

Reliable, Honest, and Affordable. I have been a customer since 2005 and have nothing but good things to say about Mercil's. I have enough knowledge about cars to know when someone is trying to gouge a customer with unnecessary repairs, and have never had one of their employees be anything other than helpful, honest and informative. great service, honest, good mechanic. I found this auto service when my daughter started at the University of Minnesota. We are from out of state and needed someone she could go to with car problems. we have used their services twice. Each time they gave exceptional service and corrected problem on the first visit. It is very convenient, right on capus where your student can drop the car off and head to class. They always check with me to explain the problem, give me an estimate and get my OK to proceed. A great place for help if you student needs mechanical help.

Reliable, Friendly, Honest. I have been going to these guys since 2000 and have had many experiences with them. Their service is excellent and friendly, they do the repairs and services requested on time, and they're honest about what I need or don't need (i.e., they don't try to "upsell," give me misleading information or try to convince me of doing additional work). If there's an additional repair they recommend, they'll tell me, scale it on "urgent / can wait / not that important" and give me options. They've even helped me sell an old car, and I was comfortable going to them for opinions/inspections regarding potential new car options. I have recommended them to friends and I will continue to do so.

NO PLACE BETTER FOR AUTO WORK. I own a 99 Subaru Forester with high miles. Everything that could have gone wrong with this car has: transmission went out, clutch replacement, water pump, bearings, and so on. Honestly, the car has more replaced parts than original ones, but that's due to in large part, this great shop I can bring it to. These guys are honest and hard working, straight shooters. The owner has been working here most of his life as it's a family owned and operated business. Customer service is excellent, and the estimates on work to be done have come in every time under their competition. These guys solve car problems, they don't create them. I have been a customer for over 6 years.

My repair shop of choice for over 15 years. I have been recommending these guys to my friends for many years and have never been let down. They have always done quality work, and their prices have always been fair. I used to work at the University and I could drop off a car in the morning - right on campus - walk to work, then walk back and pick it up after work. It's very convenient for University workers and students.

Stick to your estimates!!!. I was a $450 estimate. Called 1 hour before pickup to confirm estimate and was told $550. Picked the car up 1 hour later and was told $625.00!! No reason given for the price increase. I will not be a repeat customer.

Best Auto Shop on Campus!. I have never had a problem with these guys. They always treat me fairly, which is uncommon to a young female in an auto shop! I will continue to get my auto work done at this shop until I leave the twin cities area.

Bad customer service. This auto repair site charge me for the service they did not do. But they still insist on their charage. Really a bad experience
