Only Meant for the College Frat Boys. When I went, there were just two of us, but it was a pain to sit down and get any attention from the server. She wasn't friendly and didn't check up on us at all. I definitely would have been ordering more drinks because the one I got was very boozy and tasty, but she didn't come back soon enough.

The food we got was okay, but, again, it took a long time to get it (and the place was not busy).

I wasn't comfortable at all because all the other people there were frat boys wearing only U of M gear and their ditsy girlfriends wearing too much make-up and too little clothing.

I won't go back, but if you're a college kid, go enjoy your crappy service and fellow college kids.

Sallys is great. The food is awesome. Service is Great. For the guy who wrote about not enough Veggie and Vegan stuff on the menu this place is not for you. We dont want you hanging out here anyway. Just because one out of 1000 dont like a good burger doesn't mean you need to knock the place. I would not go to a Vegan place and then write a review about it sucking because it does not have enough meat. There are people there who shower and bathe unlike your hippie self. The only set back to Sallys is the fact that the only light beer on tap is Miller Light.

Sally's Rocks!. This restaurant has a very fun and friendly atmosphere! It's not a bar for just frats and sororities anymore because everybody seems to fit in. The food at Sally's has always satisfied me and the price is just right for a college student. If you're looking for good specials, Sally's has 25 cents taps and one dollar pints on Thursdays, and who can forget ladies night on Wednesdays?

I highly recommend this bar/restaurant to everybody and anybody.

Located near campus with pool tables, dart boards and TVs, this is the quintessential college bar.. In Short
This place is not just for Greeks or jocks or up-and-coming journalists, but for everyone who wants a cold beer, a hot burger or a big bloody marys. Patio tables go fast on warm-weather Friday nights, when happy-hour specials and occasional live music beckon. The under-25 set dominates during late-night hours, while the lunch menu and happy hour specials draw a more varied crowd during the day.

Go for the atmosphere - not the food. Sally's is a fun place to be - the patio is cool to hang out with friends and people watch, and the servers are usually friendly. The beer is cheap, but the food is not - burgers are $9, and they're nothing special. The sandwiches are bland, but the fries and wings are a probably your best bet.

Best campus bar. I have been going to Sally's since I turned 21 a couple years ago, and it is one of my favorite bars. The service has always been great, the food is just as great, and the prices are competitive. They have awesome nightly specials as well as happy hour specials. The only time service can be "slow" is during the very busy times such as gopher games or Wednesday nights but it is understandable considering the large amount of peple the bar can hold. I would recommend this bar hands down! It is a good time.

Great fish fry!!. The fish fry here is the best I have ever had. The fish melts in your mouth and the waffle fries with chicken tortellin salad are very yummy. It is a lot of food, so plan on taking some home unless you have a very large appetite. Unfortunately the fish fry is about the only thing on the menu that is worth ordering. The service is very slow and b/c it is next to the U of M, there are lots of jocks there (pretty obvious to expect it).

Do Not Enter. Unless you're wearing a white baseball cap, are an ex-jock, or a soho, don't bother. The booze is expensive, the service can be murderously slow, and they've got almost nothing in the way of veggie/vegan options. Great place to watch Monday Night Football with your frat brothers.
