What People Are Saying About Shuang Cheng Restaurant

In Short – Popular with high profile chefs out for a bite as well as university students who know a good, cheap meal when they see one, this big place is always busy. Bargain-basement decor matches bargain-basement prices for reliably fresh fare. A dictionary-size menu is overwhelming--with Szechuan specialties, hot pots, vegan options, and loads of seafood, such as the sesame shrimp--battered with a light airy touch, the prawns are drizzled with sweet but not overpowering sauce.

I love eating at Shuang. My favorite dish is either the Walleye w/ Meat Sauce or Mopo Tofu. You gotta try it, tons of food for a very, very low price.
- Pros: Food is Fantastic
- Cons: Always Crowded
Great food, Great prices!!!

My boyfriend and I have been eating here for about two years. We love it! My personal favorite is the Chicken Almond Ding. We recently tried the Sesame Chicken and it is fabulous, the best I have had in Minnesota. This place is comfortable, convenient, affordable and worth trying out, you won’t be disappointed.
- Pros: Great food and they validate parking
- Cons: Occasionally have to wait for a seat
Best Chinese food in the Twin Cities

The food is Great! I enjoy it so much I take my family there once a month. The Orange chicken is a must and don't forget all the seafood too, try them all. The sauce is rich and tasty not runny like other Chinese restaurants. The service is great too, maybe a longer wait for your food when it's busy but thats normal.
