99 cent comedy hour every wednesday night at 8!!!!

Everyone knows how great Jitters is but its the comedy night on Wednesdays for only 99cents at the door that is worth the visit! The comedy is relaxed just like the vibe of Jitters is and there is always a great line up of talent from the Minneapolis scene. We go when we get the chance and there is great up and coming stand up comics, weird sketches and most of the time some really cool Cartoons and Short films! Its all fit into one, cool one hour show! PLUS great blues music following the show from 9:20 or so till close! cant beat it.

Best Kept Secret for Music Lovers

I've been going to Jitters regularly for two years now, and I have rarely been disappointed. Jitters is totally my place to go for no-cover jazz, blues, and soul/RnB. The drinks are generally cheaper than upstairs at the Times, and the martinis are tasty and creative. The atmosphere is funkier than the Times and caters to a younger crowd. The menu has recently changed with the addition of a new chef, and some of the new ideas are simply fantastic. Fruit nachos? Are they serious? They are, and they're awesome. :)

The Divine Cocktail Lounge Show

Just when you thought there was nothing to go out for on Tuesday nights, The Divine Cocktail shows up and brings Nordeast to life! Great Sinatra-esque music, different visual and performing artist showcases every week, the great food and food specials, the great bar and drink specials, the fabulous atmosphere (like a 1960's Chicago beatnik underground - without the smoke!). You must make this a regular on your weekly to do list. Very laid back and low key. 7 to midnight! OPEN MIC too! Bring friends!
