Yummy Cheese Curds. If you can't wait till the state fair this is where you would want to get some awesome cheese curds, My friends and I come here every once and a while for some burgers and fries, and of course I have to order my curds. They are really nice place, with no drama. You can just sit back and relax with a few friends.

Updating a few facts.. Our bathrooms were completely redone during the summer of 2007. If they are gross it's because the person before you did something gross. (not gonna lie. they used to be pretty gross).

The karaoke crowd is fun and eclectic. Wide range of age, vocal ability, etc. It can get pretty crazy, but in a good way.

We serve food all night. Full menu until 10pm, burgers and apps until last call. We are well known for our burgers, fresh cut fries, and cheese curds.

If you are interested in bringing down a large group, we can over 50 in our karaoke room. While it's not required, advance notice of your group would be great.

Twin Cities' BEST Karaoke. I went to Sporty's one Thursday night on a whim because my boyfriend and I felt like singing Karaoke....and we had an amazing time. I HATE karaoke places where it feels like the American Idol auditions and everybody is judging you. I belted my heart out and everybody joined in...it was great! The crowd is pretty random...college kids, older locals, and young professionals "diving" it...but a good time was had by all. The acutaly Karaoke equipment is kind of crappy but there is a huge song selection and the host was super funny! Come to Sporty's and embrace your inner rock star!

Dive Bar!. The Sportsman is a dive bar. There's no pretension here, it is what it is. Though full of young college studends on weekend evenings (and sometimes late on weekdays) at other times it's just a group of local regulars who stop in for a cheap beer and a decent burger.

Great place to just chill out, though it can be hopping in the evenings - and it's still worth it then. Plenyt of pool tables and there's something going on almost every night. Check it out if you're in the neighborhood
