What People Are Saying About Terminal Bar

In Short – Once an industrial area filled with middle- to low-class commercial operations, the neighborhood has taken an upscale turn. But the Terminal Bar hasn't changed a bit: It's still an old-fashioned, narrow tavern with few fancy spirits; little on the walls; and a menu that offers aspirin, beer nuts and Slim Jims. There's a bit of live music--local punk and roots-rock--on a small stage in back. – – –

This place uses artists and takes advantage of their patrons, I understand the need to draw people in to run a successful business but these guys are doing it wrong.
If you planning on playing there don't
Artists don't get paid, No drink specials, Place is a ghost town every night. There are plenty of places downtown that are free and actually have an atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks, $6.50 for a 6 oz. jack and coke....... geez
Word of advice to the cokehead who books there..........retire, you suck at your job
But buy all means go if WW2 vets is your crowd
- Pros: none
- Cons: 1. Not downtown 2.Overpriced drinks 3.Cover charge on a thur
Great place for local music

Local talent encouraged to play, walk in crowd is transient to the neighborhood bars so the clientele changes frequently through the night.
Management is friendly, stage is small but adequate for the size of bar.
Booking and staff are friendly and helpful.
Good load in space for bands, lots of opportunity.
- Pros: Good sound, nice environment, open to new ideas
- Cons: smaller
Good drinks, music, good dive bar.

The Terminal bar reminds me of being in the middle of a Twin Peaks episode. Seems like a place that would be in the middle of Wisconsin right in Minneapolis. Good drinks, music sometimes, and free popcorn. Hey, they have free popcorn! Nice bartenders and a good place to grab a beer and listen to some tunes!
- Pros: I like feeling like I'm in a Twin Peaks episode.
- Cons: Sometimes it's too loud to talk during bands if that's what you want to do.
