The Loft hosts classes, readings, workshops and more for aspiring Minnesota writers.. In Short
The Loft Literary Center is inspiration itself: The exposed beams are classic Warehouse District; the hardwood floors are original and pristine; and the whirr of an espresso machine adds more charm to an already charming, wide-open space. The Loft has seasonal courses, some lasting eight weeks, or evening and weekend workshops to help inspire minds or stave off that pesky writer's block. From courses on poetry to the art of crafting a memoir to humor writing, the Loft has been the breeding ground for a handful of Twin Cities writers. The Loft also has events like poetry readings and book-release parties that help nurture the Twin Cities' burgeoning literary scene.
