burned coffee and a wafer-thin pastrami sandwich - 15 bucks. The subject line says it all. I won't be back.

Fab Fishmans!. Fishman's has an unapproachable feel b/c is blatantly states itself as a Kosher restaurant. We've talked about walking in every time we drove by the place. This morning, we decided to venture into its doors and boy, am I glad that we did!

It's 75% market and 25% restaurant. They've sectioned off a piece of the deli for the seating area; the eating area is clean, quirky, and comfortable. Mr. Fishman (the owner) himself waited on us and could not have been more pleasant.

He was very welcoming, friendly, and made it clear (in a non pushy way) he wanted our business. The food was AMAZING. I had the three challah french toast with scrambled eggs and my boyfriend had the corned beef sandwich with fries.

The french toast was heavenly and the eggs were perfection. Of course I had to have a bite of my boyfriend's sandwich, which was equally tasty. The piece de resistance were the fries. I'm not sure what kind of a batter was used for the fries, but they were probably the best fries I have ever had.

We didn't get a chance to try out their deli, but Mr. Fishman did bring us three samples of their brownies w/out having to ask. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

P.S. We aren't Jewish and had a marvelous time.

P.P.S. They follow the Sabbath and as a result, the restaurant is NOT open on Saturdays.

Like a grocery, there's a huge variety, but like at a neighborhood market, the owners know your name and tastes.. In Short
In a predominantly Jewish neighborhood, this all-kosher market offers groceries, dairy products, frozen foods, fresh meat and a deli. Fishman's prides itself on stocking a large variety of kosher products, such as 20 different kinds of macaroons. The market's fresh meat case is its focal point, full of ribs, lamb, veal and pot roasts, plus more unusual products such as aufschnit--veal and beef rolled together in a loaf.

NY Prices In MN. $11 for a Reuben with limp fries.

I have had several sandwiches here and they cant really be eaten with your hands, too soggy.

My friends in NY say a Reuben should be $5

This is it.. If you want a kosher burger, this is where you can get it. Good fries too. The Double was terrific -- and my kids like the hotdogs plenty. You'll leave full and with satisfied tastebuds.
