Tips for Chelsea's Cafe & Colonnade

Chelsea's Cafe would be more aptly
called a cafeteria, and not a good one at that. All of the meats are processed, the sandwiches and salad bar offerings are basic, and the hot foods are greasy.
The only reason I have eaten here more than once is because of the convenience. I work in the Colonnade building (Chelsea's is on the main floor) and on those days where I have forgotten my lunch and need something quickly, I meander down to Chelsea's hoping that there may be something worthwhile that day.
Today the special was a BLT wrap for which I was mildly excited for. Instead of asking if I wanted anything additional or removed from the wrap, the server promptly smothered the wrap in mayonnaise and then proceeded to put shredded lettuce, bacon and tomato on the wrap and then wrapped it up. If the ingredients would have been fresh and flavorful then maybe it wouldn't have been so bad, but instead the entire wrapped tasted like grease. I am assuming they must have cooked the bacon and promptly cut it up and put it in a bowl. All of the bacon was smothered in a thick layer of grease. The wrap was inedible. I would rather go hungry then spend $6.00 on something tasteless and greasy.
