Close to Uptown

The beauty of this motel is clearly how close it is to Uptown and the Lakes. You could walk to Uptown for breakfast and walk around the lake to get quite a view for sunset. The rooms are adequate. The rates are competitive with, say - Hopkins House. They are probably much cheaper than "name brand" hotels. There isn't a pool or complementary breakfast, but, again, you get to have the Lakes!

• Pros: close to Uptown, close to the Lakes, competitive rates
• Cons: no pool, little amenities
