The 5-8 Club

Not that great. I took my husband and neice out for B-day dinner something different...but not what I expected the service was not good when we got there was a line we stood outside for about 15 min. and when able to stand in the door way for another 15 min. They really need to expand the restaurant. The service was not good the waitress didn't get my order right but when we finally got our food 20 min. after we ordered I did not want to wait. The burgers are ok but the size of a McDonald's burger with cheese in the middle.I wouldn't go back...just like someone said you feel like the waitresses are rushing you and not paying attention to you at all.…

Extremely disappointed and unsatisfied. We decided to try out the 5-8 club after we had gone to Matts the previous week. I cannot begin to describe what a terrible experience we had. First, we decided to order the cheese curds as our appetizer and for the price of $7.00 you'd assume you'd be getting a fairly big amount. WRONG. We got about 12 cheese curds in our basket. Strike one. Next, as we were waiting for our burgers (the famous juicy lucy) our server came back once and only once to refill our drinks which sat empty most of the time. She seemed extremely rushed and all over the place. FINALLY our burgers arrived thought this was going to be awesome (wrong yet again) as I bit into my burger I realized it was still raw and pink inside. We had to flag down the waitress to get a new burger she then put it on a napkin took it and came back about a minute later with the same burger just with a new bun cheese all melted on the outside not even on the inside anymore which is the point of the burger. Also the burger was extremely dry... NOTHING JUICY ABOUT IT. Overall, our experience was misreable, the prices were too high, it's not worth your money, I'd never go back there again. Matts will have our business from now on. The home of the real "Jucy Lucy" is Matt's Bar in MPLS.…

To Go food not fresh and cold. Too long of a line outside, so we decided to call and order it to go. It was in the evening during their busy time, around 7:00PM. We were told it would be 20 minutes. We came back in 20 minutes. Wanted to start eating the food right away out in the car.

Being so busy, we expected the food to be HOT from the kitchen.

It was far from it. Onion Rings tasted like they were made 1/2 an hour ago.

Fries were the same way, both were cold.

Sorry, but nothing like hot and fresh.

Being so busy, I could not see how they could have such cold food.

Juicy Lucy's were hot. But, not super hot like the cheese is suppose to be.

That is why you have to be careful. Definitely did not have to worry about that.

Maybe they cook their food way to early. Try to keep it hot until served.

Then serve the crap to the To-Go orders, thinking it will be cold by the time they get home anyway. We ate it right away after we got outside.

I will NEVER buy To-Go food from them again. They lost my respect on that one.

Maybe I will visit them during less busy time, just to see how they treat customers who dine there.

I have been to Matt's, though not to go experience. Smaller and busy, wait for seat.

But, all of their food was right off the grill hot.

Definitely had to be careful to eat their food.…
