In Short – For Twin Cities foodies, Holy Land deli is like Mecca. Not only can you get all-natural and healthy goods on the cheap, you can indulge in your sinful side and enjoy Holy Land's large selection of fresh-baked breads, pita chips and appetizers like meats samosas for a good price, too. Stop in to this famous Middle Eastern restaurant and store for a giant, delectable falafel or two or take home any of Holy Land's famous hummus and pita bread for a party all your own. After all, there are more than 40 items on the menu to try. Along with the burgers and rotisserie chickens, Holy…
Wonderful hummus and pita, can be crowded.

The buffet is a good value--excellent pita and hummus too. Plated orders can be a bit pricey. I ordered a falafel sandwich and it was >$7 for just the sandwich (no sides). Have gone a few times and it can get crowded. The parking lot is in the back but it's really cramped and tough to maneuver, especially in the snow. Better to just park on the street if you can. Sometimes it's packed for dinner--possible that I just came during Ramadan and it was not the norm.
Would recommend for people who would like to try middle eastern food, but be aware the service is pretty minimal and it can be crowded.
They keep forgetting my sauce!
by Albmsp
The first time I went to Holy Land, I had one of the chicken sandwiches with both cucumber and hot sauce, and it was really good. The sauces really made the sandwich for me. I've gone back 3 more times and ordered the same thing, and all 3 times they've forgotten the sauce. They type it in the computer when I order (and charge me for the "extra" sauce, I think), and every time, no sauce. Shame on me for forgetting to check at this point, but it makes me really angry. Without the hot sauce to excite my taste buds, the chicken is bland. Overall, Holy Land is cheap and you get a lot of food, but every time I go there I'm increasingly disappointed.
- Pros: Cheap
- Cons: Ambience, service
Find all Middle-Eastern ingredients you need

I grew up in Lebanon and have always struggled to find the proper ingredients to cook Lebanese food, until I visited this grocery store. I finally found Labneh, Jallab syrup, fresh Lebanese cheeses like Baladi and even Kri-kri! All perishable foods are fresh and there is a great selection. I did not have a chance to taste the cafe foods but was very happy to find fresh Khobez and even Italian pastries.
Highly recommended!
- Pros: Variety, availability of products, freshness.
