In Short – Inside, there are just two tables (and the chairs at one of them seem to be 90 percent duct tape), since most folks just get takeout. The menu is short and sweet: large and meaty racks of ribs, slathered with Scott's spicy, vinegary sauce, in mild, medium or hot. You can also order a half- or quarter-rack, barbecued chicken or a chicken-and-ribs combo. Bratwurst, steak and pork sandwiches are on the menu, too.
Outstanding Southern Barbecue; Best BBQ Chicken in the area
by mclaincausey
I had the spareribs and the chicken. The ribs were outstanding, but they were a little dry. The dryness takes them down a peg from the extreme top tier represented by Baker's Ribs and Qfanatic--but they are still very good and recommended. However, the chicken was a revelation; some of the best I've ever had, and certainly the best in the TC area that I've tried.
I like their sauces, I had them blend mild and hot (they call this "mot"). They have very friendly service as well.
- Pros: The CHICKEN!
- Cons: No real seating
What a waste of time!!!!

Drove 30 minutes out of our way only to be told they were out of ribs for 45 minutes. Out of Ribs? At a Rib Joint? We won't waste our time again.
- Cons: don't keep their main item in stock
I don?t understand the hype about this place

I am always searching for a good BBQ place, after trying so many bad BBQ places in Minneapolis I lowered my expectations. I am searching for a somewhat decent BBQ place in Minneapolis. Anyway, I went there today, I had the ribs which were so dry and no meat on them.I watched him cook the ribs and he was cooking them on the grill. I also had the steak sandwich which was good. I liked the guy, he seemed like a good guy.
- Pros: Good BBQ sauce
- Cons: Dry ribs
