I highly recommend Steven and his acupuncture treatments. Steven uses the oldest form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) - which I learned from him and had several things treated with him. I absolutely love acupuncture. Every time I leave COMC I feel so relaxed, calm and genuinely happy because of the relief of pain. I have had a few different things treated like back pain, headaches and general stress and have been so happy with the results every time. Steven is so knowledgeable and truly loves what he does; it shows through his treatments. I highly recommend Steven Sonmore as a Licensed Acupuncturist.

Steven has helped me with low back, leg, and hip pain. Before treatments I was unable to swim without pain. Thanks to Steven I can now swim without pain.

I've been going to see Steve for over 8 years. Never, not once has he ever done anything that has caused me any long term pain. He has treated me for various problems - wrist pain, back pain, muscle tightness and recently has helped me recover very quickly from significant shoulder surgery.

I have recommended Steve to my friends and will continue to do so.

Steven should not be allowed to practice acupuncture, in my opinion. After several visits to him for acupuncture, he ended up shoving a needle in my wrist and damaging the medial nerve. What resulted was THREE MONTHS of crippling pain in my right wrist. When I mentioned this to him just days after it happened, his response was "Well, you signed the safety waiver."

He practices a very aggressive form of acupuncture and in his words the older, more reliable TCM acupuncture is "for barbie dolls". Aside from his careless method of practicing acupuncture, he is also extremely absent minded. I had to mention the same things over and over to him every visit because he could never remember them.

His office also smells very bad, like mold or mildew. Absolutely horrible experience.

After smoking for over 45 years, as much as 2 packs per day, and trying many different methods to quit, including Zyban, and Chantix, I had no success. I researched the acupuncture process and the idea behind it. To be honest; prior to my treatment, I had little belief, and doubted it would work. A few years ago I also developed high blood pressure, I inquired about this problem with Steven, and incorporated treatment along with the quit smoking program.

Before I committed, Steven explained; what would happen during the treatments, in detail. The morning of the first treatment I smoked up to the time I went into his office. Once started, I was surprised that there was no pain with the process. I actually felt relaxed after all the needles were in. I left the office thinking in a short time, the old urge would come back, but it didn’t. As the day went on, there were only short periods of even thinking about smoking. I continued the remaining treatments, and the thoughts of smoking actually became less frequent, as time passed.

I have been smoke free for over 10 months, I can tolerate being around other smokers, and it gets easier every day. I remain the same weight as when I started, despite all the talk I heard over the years on how I would put on weight after I quit smoking. I now have confidence in acupuncture. My blood pressure has been normal since the treatments, and in general I feel better all around health wise.

Since the treatments, I have and will continue to recommend acupuncture at Complete Oriental Medical Care for quitting smoking. Steven is an acupuncturist that is knowledgeable, and takes great care in his practice and treatments, I will always recommend him, and for any of the other health problems he treats.

I started going to Complete Oriental Medical Care for persistent anxiety. My desire was to seek out a holistic approach as opposed to western medicine’s solution of prescribing various drugs, many of which come with a host of not-so-pleasant side effects. I did several days worth of research to find a holistic clinic that was right for me. Dr. Sonmore’s website was the first that resonated with me. I was impressed by the fact that he not only offers acupuncture, but he’s also educated in Chinese herbs and nutritional counseling. I decided to give it a go. My mind was immediately put at ease when I stepped into this clinic. It’s friendly, relaxed, clean, and comfortable atmosphere made me feel right at home. I was equally amazed at how much time Dr. Sonmore spent with me one-on-one evaluating my condition, as well as answering all of the questions I had about his treatment process. It seems like so many doctors do not take the time to educate their clients about what it is they do. This personal approach to my condition went a long way towards making me feel very comfortable about working with Dr. Sonmore. After only ten minutes into my first treatment, a relaxed sensation came over me. I even fell asleep! Steven explained that my body had entered a deep, relaxed state. By the end of the treatment I felt much more calm and at peace. I am now into my fourth treatment, and have noticed my anxiety levels dropping significantly. I am more productive in my daily life and am no longer in a constant state of worry. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is considering healing with Chinese medicine. Steven worked wonders on my upper back. I had been having constant soreness and tension in my upper back, and after 13 treatments, the back pain is gone, my sleep improved, and I have more energy. Steven's acupuncture is powerful, and he very obviously wants the best for his patients. The atmosphere at the office is very calm and inviting. Other patients, upon seeing me for the first time, were quick to share their own success stories with me. I recommend Steven Sonmore to anyone looking to improve their health, as the treatments will address not only the symptom, but the root cause as well, igniting the body's natural healing abilities.

Acupuncture is amazing!. My name is Emily Olson. I experienced severe contact dermatitis for about a year and a half. I had rashes all over my body. The skin on the insides of my arms was always inflammed and red. I had to resort to wearing long sleeved shirts to cover my skin in the summer. I went to a dermatologist and was given creams/ointments that would help, but didn't ever take care of the dermatitis. The only thing that made it go away was a very strong steiroid pill. I knew that I didn't want to have to resort to steiroids for the rest of my life. I decided that I needed to look into another form of treatment. I called a number of clinics that offered Accupunture. When I called Complete Oriental Medical, Jackie was very helpful and very kind on the phone. She was not pushy and offered to send information to me. She told me to call if it's something I wanted to try. I made and appointment to see Steven. I wasn't even sure it was going to help. I went in twice a week for 6 weeks. It didn't take long to see an amazing difference in my skin. I was so thankful that this approach helped me. I continue to go and see Steven almost weekly. My skin is 100 times better! My family has been amazed at the transformation in my skin. My parents are so happy that this form of medicine has made such a difference in my life. I will continue to see Steven for my skin. I also see him if there are any other issues with my health. I would recommend accupunture to anyone! Complete Oriental Medical has made such a positive change in my life. I will be forever grateful.
