Specify how spicy you want your dish, or servers will automatically bring you the mildest preparation. Popular dishes include the zesty red chicken curry with nice hunks of tender meat, or rama thai--plump shrimp in silky peanut-curry sauce over steamed spinach.

I've tried other Thai retaurants and although I'm sure there are better decor's and possibly better menus. I haven't found one of those yet. Always a favorite place to go when my out of town family members visits

This Bloomington Sawatdee is probably one of the worst restaurants in the Twin Cities. We went there in the mid-afternoon and were the only people in the place but still received inattentive and horribly slow service. The food was tasteless and boring; we never saw the drink menu that was mentioned in the profile for this restaurant because it probably doesn't exist!! The server apologized for his lackadaisical service at the end of the meal and offered free ice cream, which I accepted but my husband wisely turned down. The ice cream he brought out was so horribly freezer burned, I'm guessing it had been in the freezer for close to a year!
Stay far, far away from this place! I have no clue why Citysearch said it's such a great place for Thai food!

Decent Thai cuisine.

I have been here a few times and since have varied on my opinion. This place is nice. Not outstanding, but overall satisfactory. Try the Thai iced tea.
