If it ain't broke, don't fix it..
I love Sandy's. You will too. The seasoned grill makes all the difference. If you like Olives, you have to have an Olive Burger. California Burger with Pepper Jack cheese is awesome too. Crinkle fries, Cheese Curds... Fish sandwich and Chicken Fillet too. Stop by and have a beer!

Best Burgers.
Great burgers, served in baskets. Simple, reasonably portioned and priced.
The "decor" hasn't been updated since the Carter administration, but the folks there are friendly and food is great. The place gets real busy (especially on the weekends) so don't come here in a hurry and get huffy about it. And they only take cash.

A local favorite.
This place is awesome. I love the staff, the food, the neighborhood feel. I can't believe I lived in the area for so long before finding it. It's not a fancy place. Food served in baskets you eat with your fingers - don't worry, there's plenty of napkins. Best burgers I've ever had - I can't even order a burger anywhere else.

Fantastic Burgers!.
Just visiting Sandy?s Tavern for the first time this week, I can already say that Sandy's may just have the best burgers in the Twin Cities, and I would consider myself to be somewhat of a burger connoisseur. After talking to one of the worker's there, I learned from him that Sandy's opened its doors immediately following the prohibition, so suffice it to say, Sandy no longer owns the joint, but one could safely assume that one of his children/grandchildren now run the place. No larger than your regular sized living room, which includes the bar, a few tables and booths, a pool table, dart board, one small television, not to mention decor reminiscent from the 1960's, Sandy?s is now my new favorite burger joint. Out of the 3 people in my party, which included myself, we all ordered different types of cheeseburgers, one order of large fries, and a pitcher of beer, and we all went away with smiles on our faces, not to mention money to burn. Sorry Lion?s Tap, you just can?t compete with Sandy?s.

Sandy's is the place to go in Richfield.
If you like a great burger, this is the place. Unassuming but clean, with great care put into the food. You will go crazy for their burgers, their chicken wings, you name it, it is absolutely great here! And the pocket book will thank you, too!
