NEVER GO HERE!!. When I made an appointment for my consultation, the lady that was helping me did not even shake my hand. She did not listen to my budget needs, or listen to what I wanted. I feel like she did not take me seriously, and so rude. I felt awful after my experience with this company or the particular florist I was working with. I will never recommend this service to anyone.

worst customer service ever. I made an appt for a free wedding flower consultation with the owner. This was the first florist I met with and wasnt sure if I was going to us them. I was planning on getting estimates from several florists before deciding on one. The owner said it wasnt in his "vested interest to help me" if I was not going to use them. I was shocked and hurt by such unfriendly customer service. He was unwilling to give me prices or any information because I wouldnt commit to them. My advice to everyone is dont waste your time, he obviously doesnt want or need the business.

Wedding flowers/equipment. My fiancee and I ended up walking out of this store yesterday when the staff was unfriendly and practically ignored us. We had an appointment for 5 p.m., so the woman at the counter told us to sit down at a desk across the room and fill out a form. The woman watched as we filled out the short form in about one minute and then sat waiting for 15 more minutes. At this point, it was clear that this wasn't a company we wanted to do business with so we left.

It was particularly frustrating because we were coming almost an hour from the northern suburbs and we had an appointment. Whoever was supposed to meet with us should have been expecting us, and if there was something terribly important in the back that justified him or her to leave us sitting there it would have been common courtesy to at least explain that to us. From the telephone conversation I had to set up the appointment to entering the store it never felt very friendly or professional.

At this point we have visited with dozens of vendors from reception venues to caterers to event supplies and more. This was our first negative experience. Everybody else seemed to understand that we were about to make a decision that could cost more than $1,000 and that we were planning the most special day of our lives together. It was really surprising how bad the customer service was here, and I'd recommend looking elsewhere, especially if planning something like a wedding.

Wedding Flowers. I met with them for a flower consultation. It took forever for them to get the estimate to me...almost a month. I was expecting them to come in bottom tier price wise based on their shop and how they conducted themselves professionally. Their area for consultations was crowded and messy. The asked to make copies of some of my pictures and ended up keeping them. When I realized this happened after I left the shop, they never called me to tell me they were there. I called them to find out. I was not impressed with them at all. I would recommend looking at other florists because their prices are high and I was displeased with their service. There are florists out there that will work with you and help you create you vision. Honestly, I don't believe that Richfield Flowers and Events is the florist...at least not for me.
