WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL!!!!!!!. These tips are fishy. Sharon R has left numerous but each one is her first cleaning? Hmm that's odd.. I wonder if the owner writes these herself. I wish I would have read them before I used the company because it is terrible. The managers are rude and unprofessional. And it seems that everyone who answers the phone is a manager but tell you something different. I have never seen a business with such inconsistent policies. Save your money and clean your house yourself.

surprised as the experience I had with Distinctive Cleaning was nothing but pleasant. In fact, I called them in a panic as I was expecting company the upcoming weekend and came home from work that Wed to find that my kids had made a big mess - which with work, I could not fix myself prior to our company coming. I called and spoke with Nykole (very nice lady), explained the situation and she was able to get me in that Friday afternoon - miracle! They came out as expected - they do provide a one-hour time window for arrival which was no problem, and they did a great job! I had no issues or concerns and I would absolutely recommend them and use them again. They saved my life that weekend and I found their customer service to be exceptional.
Don't hire this company. Don't buy Groupons or CrowdCuts for services from this company. During my one and only business transaction with them (window cleaning using a Crowd Cut voucher), I had to call three times to get an appointment scheduled. The day before the scheduled cleaning, I sent an email to confirm that they were coming and was told I wasn't on the schedule. The person I spoke with that day -- the same person who scheduled me two weeks earlier -- denied ever having spoken to me. This conversation ended with him hanging up on me. Just save yourself this kind of hassle and hire someone else.
Horrid service from the first call. The woman who answers the phone on behalf of the company was rude and inconsiderate. I was put on hold for 20 minutes and when she returned to my call asked, "Who is this and why are you calling?" They sent a plumber to clean my windows who nervously told me his only prior experience was cleaning his mother's windows. We have French panes (six-panes separated by wood) and I was informed he would have to charge $3 per individual pane which was not at all what I had been quote on the phone. In the past, I've had my two-story home and garage windows cleaned for $550/max. After politely asking him to leave (he was a really nice guy, BTW) the general manager called and left a scathing voicemail message to say, "It's going to rain today, tomorrow, or sometime in the next month and your windows are going to suffer no matter what. The only person who can warranty rain is GOD!" It was such a weird, awkward and completely unprofessional exchange. I would rather my cat clean the windows than ever use their service again.

Very inconsiderate management. Had 3 paid scheduled appointments for a simple house cleaning. First one went well.They called ahead of time to let us know when the cleaner would arrive approximately.
The next appointment they called the day they were supposed to be here and cancelled. Lots of notice-hah!
We scheduled another appointment but had to cancel because of medical reasons that came up late. We called less than 24 hours prior to the day of the appointment and were told that it was too late to cancel and we would just forfeit the already paid appointment.
I got into a bit of a heated discussion with them and pointed out that THEY had cancelled a scheduled appointment the same day as the appointment prior to this and they incurred no penalty! So we made another appointment and did not forfeit our money.
This is the day of the appointment. No one from there called to confirm that they were coming and when so I called. They said they were coming out at supper time.
They were supposed to be here during the DAY and besides that I should not have had to call THEM to find this out.
The first two physical cleanings we had were good.
The management is very inconsiderate and not easy to work with.
I would NOT RECOMMEND this outfit to my worst enemy!
There are plenty of other company's out there that are respectful and appreciate your business-use them instead!

I hired them to do a one time cleaning of my home in Eden Praire. They did a fabulous job and for what I thought a pretty fair price.
I have a good sized home and never have the time to ever get it all clean at once. So to treat myself, I decided to hire a cleaning service to do it all for me.
It was so nice to have my whole home cleaned so well, and all at once for a change. I am considering working them into my monthly budget. It was well worth the money I spent and look forward to having them back again in a few weeks or so.
Happy not to clean my home any more!.
I used Distinctive Cleaning after I saw a news story about them giving free cleanings to cancer patients. I was very touched by this and I never like to or have time to clean, so I gave them a try.
I spoke with Nicole and she set me up for a cleaning just a few days later. She was very nice and helpful.
I decided to have them come in when I was gone at work. I work 45-50 hours per week and cleaning is not on my list of priorities. I came home from work and almost felt like I walked in to a different house. It was so nice to come home to clean floors, vacuumed carpet, and sparkling clean kitchen and bathrooms. I really was impressed.
After such a great result the first time I decided to sign up for every other week cleanings. I have since had two cleanings and the same great results. Nothing is truly better then someone else cleaning your home and coming home to a nice clean home after a long day at work.
I also really like the fact that I am with a service that does such great things for people who are suffering from such a horrible disease. Its really nice to work with people who do this and know part of what I spend goes to help others.
Don't be a fool. Do not use this company. The owner is a liar. A cleaner spilled bleach on my rug and I have been trying to get reimbursed for 7 months now. The owner claims to have sent me a check that got cashed. It is so infuriating that I have wasted my time calling these people to check on the status and then to be lied to. The actual cleanings were substandard.
I wish I had read the reviews here first.
I purchased a Crowd Cut voucher for window cleaning services August 2011. The best appointment I could get was scheduled for November right before Thanksgiving, However, the weather got too cold and the appt. was cancelled. I was told they would still honor my voucher in the spring. Since we've had such great weather here in the Twin Cities I called early March to set up the cleaning. I was told to call back in a week and they would be setting up the "Crowd Cut" cleanings. I called back a week later and was told it would be another week. I called back a week later and was told it would be the following Wednesday. The woman I spoke with (who sounded like a smoker) was not at all pleasant when I explained it was the 3rd time I had been trying to schedule. I am still trying to schedule the appointment and last attempt had me on hold for over 5 mins. Also, the voucher states "small fee for homes outside the Twin Cities area." I was told I would be charged an additional fee for service in Stillwater even though Stillwater is in the 7 county metro/Twin Cities area.
