In Short – Older singles, yuppie couples on 24/7 schedules, families with kids in booster chairs and groups of friends enjoy the stylish, inexpensive and comfortable eatery nestled in the 50th and France neighborhood. Huge platters arrive steaming. For breakfast, there's smoked salmon scramble or the hot hash and holly. Sandwiches include an aromatic, curried egg salad, yellowfin tuna melt and grilled cheese. All are served with choice of a side, such as sweet potato fries.

What has happened to the Grill
by Irene Leigh at Citysearch
I used to be a big fan of the Grill but things have been slipping. The place has lost its energy, lost its vibe. Staff no longer seem to be happy and the managers are non existent except for a girl name Ruth who must be new. They must be terribly under staffed because several Sunday's in a row there has been a wait to be seated yet the back half of the dining room is closed!? Midweek lunches are about the same with staff barely able to keep up with all the tables and no visable support from managers. Food has remained pretty good but service is screaming for help.
Great neighborhood beer and bite

Love the Grill, we can walk there from our house and that makes it even better.
Love the food, locals brews and staff. What more do you need in a local establishment?
- Pros: Always great customer service, awesome food, local brews
best turkey burger in town? NOPE
by krecreane at Citysearch
Sat down to an over-selling of wine that we had no intention of buying...were going to order a burger, but saw on both the website and the menu that the turkey burger was "voted" the best in Minneapolis. Humm, mushy, tasteless, wilty bun, deeply unsatisfying. Salad -- nondescript. Delicious corn bread though.
$30 for a bad turkey burger, a salad and a beer.
Probably won't be back.
- Pros: cute baby sitting next to us.
- Cons: Very uninspired
Great people watching and breakfast!

My roommate and I have started to make brunch at the Edina Grill a weekly tradition. The service isn't spectacular but that is balanced out by the bloody mary's, coffee and food. If you get a booth by the window in the bar area, the suburban upper-middle class people watching is great- if you're into that sort of thing!
Service was slow and insulting
by sl1680 at Citysearch
My family went on Saturday for breakfast and after placing our orders, it took almost 45 minutes to get our food. The waitress had also forgotten the side orders that we had placed originally. Then at the end of the poor dining experience, she mumbled some comments that my family was too anxious and needed to be more pleasant. My family will never go back and I would advice others to avoid the Edina Grill as well.
- Cons: Slow service, Insulting waitress
