Since the Ramada brand made its debut in 1954 in Flagstaff, Ariz., the hotel franchise has been offering dependable accommodations with budget-wise perks. Families appreciate the kids-stay-free policy for children 17 and under staying with their parents. Other amenities usually include a swimming pool, full-service restaurant, lounge, in-room data ports and voice mail. Group rates--for wedding parties, corporate groups or family reunions--are available for parties requiring 10 or more rooms per night.

Family Fun. My family was in Minneapolis for a mini vacation, basically to go to the Mall of America and Valleyfair.

The hotel is SO close to the Mall! We loved it, they have a free shuttle that drops you off and picks you up at the front door. It was also closer to Valleyfair than we had thought. The staff was really great, and we enjoyed breakfast in their restaruant. We will be back!
