Fantastic!. Fantastic experience! I started looking for a permanent hair removal because I have INCREDIBLY sensitive skin. I break out after shaving, waxing, or epilating, Nair removed more skin than hair, and every dermatologist I have seen just wants to layer on more steroids instead of stopping the problem where it starts. I was told I am not a good candidate for laser treatments, so when I got a recommendation from a new doctor for Something Nice, and went in for a consultation. I saw Heather, who discussed various treatment options, and we did a quick 15-minute trial to see how my skin would take it. Not well, it turned out. However, Heather proceeded to do 2 more treatments using different settings, free of charge, just to see if it would be less detrimental to my skin. The third method healed well, and I have been seeing Heather weekly to continue treatments.

Treatments are charged by the minute, but become more economical the longer sessions you have. Some spots need to be treated more than once, but I have only had a few hairs pop up after being zapped. Treatments can be uncomfortable due to the heat the instruments put into the follicle, but compared to the torture I’ve been though with my skin for the last decade, or so, it’s a cakewalk.
