Kinhdo has been a favorite of ours for a long time---we discovered it because of its prime location on Hennepin Avenue and began to frequent it. The food is very good, especially the vegetarian and mock duck dishes, and their spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee are excellent. The prices have gone up in recent years, and the decor isn't anything special, but the food is consistently good and service has always been friendly and reliable. I would definitely take a friend there for lunch.

This restaurant has closed. To fill up the 100 character minimum for reviews: The space remains empty. They underwent a change in management and unfortunately, went under very quickly. So sad because it was a great place with great service before the change.

I had eaten at the one in uptown and really enjoyed it. So I recently moved to Golden Valley and was excited to get take out from this one. I ordered General Tzo chicken. It was the worst chinese food I have ever seen. I got it home and it looked like it had been sitting out for days, and the smell was horrible. I didn't even take a bite, it went right to the garbage. I will never again try this restaurant
