It's a shame someone who knows the restaurant biz doesn't buy this place.... I love SF's Chicken Wild Rice Soup but the only way to do food from here is to call ahead and pick it up. The food is over-priced which would be worth it if the staff had any interest in serving customers. The service is terrible. There have been several times we have had to walk out due to no service. It's a shame since it could be such a great bar but unfortunately they just don't care to wait on anyone. Very disappointing.

Sunshine Factory. A great family place for dinner, reasonable pricing, great portions. The bar is a great place to hang.

This suburban eatery's dual personality means it appeals to just about everyone.. In Short
Divided into two sides--the bistro and the restaurant--the Sunshine Factory's dual personality may explain its enduring popularity. The restaurant side boasts dark wood, white tablecloths and generous portions. It's a bit more refined than the casual, family-friendly bistro. The bistro's loyal clientele take over the outdoor deck at the first sign of melting snow. Juicy prime rib and crumb-coated walleye are the restaurant's signature dishes. The bistro's innovative menu offers walleye sandwiches andgrilled chicken-raspberry salad.

Sunshine factory. I don't know if it's still as good as it was when we first went there 15 years ago. Memories tend to improve with age. However they still have the best prime rib I've even found... bar none. The wildrice chicken soup is fantasic, an also the clam chowder is the best I've found in Minnesota. To top it I had to go to Honalulu. The food is always of great quality, and large portions. My only issue is that over the years the waitstaff may not be quite as friendly and accomodating as they once were.

Loud. We were sitting in the sports bar area and kept hearing loud yelling from the kitchen. Most unpleasent atmostphere. The turnaround for the food was slow and the waitress informed us that one of the 4 entrees was done but she was still waiting on the others - it took another 15 minutes. Everything was warm when it arrived - I guess one of us had microwaved food!

unhappy. It was my Birthday and my mom wanted to take me out to dinner, after an hour wait with no line, somebody came over to us, the main waitress had thought we had already eaten, we got up and left!

Excellent. The Sunshine Factory always has the best food, the daily specials are always "extra special" and tasty. My husband and I always have a good time when we go there, the staff is courteous, friendly and very efficient.
