Tips for Precision Tune Auto Care

I went for a wheel alignment as they advertise the cheapest rates in town. They tell me they can't do the alignment because I needed new tie-rods and struts, to the tune of $450. I had a friend who works at Volkswagen look at my car, he said the struts would likely need to be replaced but not any time soon and that the tie-rods were in absolutely fine condition and there was no reason they couldn't do an alignment. Bottom-line... They trick you into coming for the cheap alignment, then sell you overpriced repairs that you don't need and if you don't bite...they don't do your alignment. They are untrustworthy and I will never visit a Precision Tune anywhere again.
