THE DRESS OF MY DREAMS

I went there with the idea of the dress i wanted... i described it to the consultant and she got it for me... it was exaclty how i pictured it in my mind... and the price was perfect. I had another appointment for another dress shop for the same day and i ended up canceling it because i bought the dress... the ladies that work there were super friendly and helpful.
- Pros: reasonable prices, lots of options, great staff service
- Cons: paying for alterations

Save yourself the disappointment

I went to Wedding Chapel Bridals today, just got back...and I feel like sobbing. The sales people were friendly, yes, but I am just very disappointed with that shop. First, you can't take pictures, and I want to have pictures so I can compare and make sure I get what looks best on me- I am paying for it. Second, they won't tell you the name of the designer unless you order the dress; I want to make sure I get what I pay for. Third, I actually found *THE dress* but to order it shorter its extra, then to do the alterations when it comes in is extra, AND if I only put half the amount down, instead of the full, its an extra 200+ dollars as well! So with the dress and the veil, it will cost me over 2,000 dollars(!) and I'm extremely upset that to jump through all those hoops to get the dress (of unknown quality) to fit right that I will be spending that much money, and Wedding Chapel Bridals offers NO incentive. (most other places do!) Unless you count not being able to find that dress elsewhere without a photographic memory being an incentive to spend over 2 grand at that place an incentive...
- Pros: beautiful dresses
- Cons: no pictures allowed, no incentives or discounts, refuse to tell you deigner of gowns, A LOT of extra fees

When i walked in the door I overherd the sales people "why do you have an appointment with MY bride,that wont work call her and have her reschedule, when i am here" MY BRIDE!! really that skared me right away. THe girl that measured me was way off. and i was told a size 10 is all they have on the floor and if i wanted to try it on in my size it had to be paid in full first and i would have to wait 12+ weeks to have it ordered. not happy mad i waisted the gas money.
- Pros: if you are a size 10-12
- Cons: if you are not
