Unprofessional and dishonest sales tactic..
Test drove a pre-owned vehicle that I was interested in at this dealership. When I told the sales person 'PJ' I'm not ready to decide yet and asked him to appraise my truck for trade in value to help
my purchase decision, the sales person was not pleased and said they usually do that only if a customer is ready to buy. When I insisted, he acted like he started the process and took my key. 2 minutes later a 'manager' came to me and gave me some stupid excuses as to why he can't appraise my truck unless I'm buying the car at this moment. This is so ridiculus and unprofessional.
The quote at the end of this review is taken from their own website that they will appraise any vehicle and even 'buy' it. Ha! Ha! They won't even appraise it and tried to pressure me to buy 'now'. Be aware! I hate to stereotype, but watch out for the 'used car sales man' at this dealership! When I said no, they just walked away, no good bye, no phone number, no business card. Just plain rude!

Poor Customer Service. Went to this dealiership to look at the CR-V. Initial impressions of sales staff poor. The man who helped us was very casual and seemed to not take us seriously. He did seem to be dodgy and have his own agenda. When describing something I disliked after the test drive he made it seem more like my problem than the vehicles. He also lied about the CR-V having a history of A/C problems. Would never buy from here or look at a CR-V again. After test driving the CR-V, Rav-4, and Subaru forestor in the same day, the CR-V showed how uncomfortable and poor performing it was. Also, when in the show room several staff, one man in particular, stared at me and my family akwardly......hmmmmmm.…
Stay clear of Brookdale Honda unless you like to be abused.
Horrible experience with rude, nasty, demeaning folks. They said our research was wrong, other dealers were lying, that we were "stupid and naive". The even accused me of not liking my wife because
I wasn't going to buy 4wd instead of the fwd we wanted. They told her that maybe she didn't deserve a power seat because she was too cheap to pay their (very high) price for a CRV EXL model. As we were leaving the internet guy was stilling insulting and demeaning us, telling us that we needed to go home and do some research to find out what he was saying was correct (in his best scolding voice).
We went to another dealer and got exactly what we wanted at the deal that Brookdale said we were "stupid and naive" to even ask for.
This is a totally low class operation that I would not recommend to my worst enemy.…
Worst dealership EVER. DO NOT SHOP HERE! These people fit every cliche' of a "used car dealer" but they include their poor business ethics on new cars too. BEWARE!!!!!!!
Watch out for Adam Peterson in the business office.. Had a decent service from Rick G, a car salesman, however, when the business office (Adam) got involved, the whole thing went downhill. Not only did they raise the rate of my warranty after I signed the initial purchase agreement, they also forgot to write the price of my warranty into the auto loan. When Adam asked me to come in and re-sign papers for a THIRD time, I refused. Instead of apologizing and politely negotiating, Adam tried his best to guilt and bully me into signing. At the conclusion of multiple phone calls with Adam Peterson, I learned that I don't have a moral compass, don't know the difference between right and wrong, and am not smart enough to make my own decisions. Sounds like great customer service to me. Will NEVER service my car there or buy another car from Brookdale Honda.…
