Pizza >Scoreboard Pizza
Delicious pizza, still to this day. As a former veteran of our fine military, I've had the opportunity to try Pizza all over the world and in many places here in the USA. The single best pizza that I have EVER had is easily at Scoreboard Pizza (which is ironic since it's so close to where I grew up and went to school). And to the fella who claimed that the sauce wasn't all that special? Wow, you couldn't be more wrong...the sauce is delicious and a bit spicy - it's half the reason that the pizza itself is so fantastic. Sure it's extra gravy that the cheese helpings are so generous or that the crust is quite tasty too but it's the sauce that's the life-blood of a Pizza restaurant and Scoreboard nails it perfectly. Five star taste, all around, at great prices!!
Twin Cities BEST Pizza. These guys are your hometown pizza joint. Smoky, crispy crust. The sauce is nothing to write home about, but it is good. The clincher has to be the cheese, though. They are extremely generous with it and its fresh too. ***** for these guys.
Scoreboard Pizza Feat. I'm glad to know that it's still around after all these years. I worked there before it was Scoreboard Pizza (Pizza Factory & Pizza Feat) and it was good then. If it's kept the same dough and sauce recipes from my days as a pizza cook then it really is good pizza worth going out of your way to "gitcha some". The seriously over-carbon charged Mountain Dew was a favorite with our customers. The ambience was pure 70's kitsch with dark paneling and darker carpet (all the better to hide those messy overturned pizzas and meatball dips.
