In Short – With its cozy corner tables and Provencal decor, Chez Daniel, located in the Embassy Suites hotel, has a decidedly French feel. Still, don't worry if you don't speak the language, your server most likely doesn't either. The menu's in French with English descriptions and features specialties like bouillabaisse, beef bourguignon and lamb stew. For romantics who like to share their dishes, there are flaming desserts for two as well as a Caesar salad prepared tableside.
Stay healthy, avoid Chez Daniel

Visually witnessed the Executive Chef/General Manager (the one on TV ads) run a plate to a client at a wedding banquet function, the chicken fell off the plate and onto the carpeted hallway as it was rushed to the customer, the chef picked it up, placed it back on the plate and served it to that person. The horrible stories in that kitchen are going on and on. Beware and stay away from Chez Daniel, it is not for nothing that they had a major outbreak sometime ago and made 160 people sick during a major holiday brunch. :(
- Cons: Health Hazards, food safety violations
Unfortunately, can't review the food

We wanted to try Chez Daniel so printed off a coupon from Restaurantcom, which clearly stated that the total we needed to spend to use a $50 gift cert was $50 (this has now been corrected). I called the manager with no luck. She could have chosen to honor the $50 minimum purchase and make money. Instead, she was rude and unapologetic and now, we will never eat there. Restaurantcom, on the other hand, credited the gift certificate and will likely get our business again.

Good food, lousy restaurant

We went to this restaurant for a special occasion, and I have mixed emotions about it. First of all, the location and decorations make me think that I'm in a cheap motel. The bar area gave me deja vu of applebees and the decor in the restaurant portion makes me think of my grandmothers house, complete with every other customer being over age 65. As for the food, I'm a picky eater while my girlfriend will eat anything and love it. Yet I thought everything was wonderful and she complained about how boring her entree was. Also, I think there was just one waiter for the whole restaurant and I felt very neglected. Overall, I can't really recommend this place nor can I dissuade you from going.
- Pros: appetizer, soup, entree
