STAY AWAY!!! This is going for any student or customer thinking about going here! I went to school here and it was the biggest regret of my life. The same price as Aveda too. Very ghetto, some of the teachers either don't know what they're doing or don't care or both. One of them even admitted that to me! Many of the students don't care how good of a job they do, so I would not trust them to do my hair. Before I was a student I got my hair cut by a student there, I thought I was safe with the instructor around, but no. She cut my bangs extremely short, and then cut two random slices below my bangs. I had no way of fixing it or hiding it until it grew out. If you're thinking about being a student here-DON'T. They are pretty much scam artists. They bring in companies that sell things- that have NOTHING to do with cosmetology, they sell things and take our money, and then we never get what we bought! If you're paying $80 a day to be there, why would they disrupt your learning by bringing companies in for an hour or two to try to sell you stuff? Makes no sense to me. I have friends that have gone to school at Aveda. Honestly they know so much more about hair than I do. I feel like I barely learned anything. Lesson learned the hard way.

Rich horrible people stay away. I love it. Rich bitches need to stay away from schools. I on the other hand have had services done here and have always been happy with them.

I WOULD DEF GO BACK.... THESE GIRLS ARE GOING TO SCHOOL FOR THIS. IF YOU ARE RITZY BITCHY TO GOOD FOR ANYTHING THEN THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. IF U ARE COLLEGE STUDENT YOURSELF AND CAN'T AFFORD A $50 HAIR CUT THEN THIS IS DEFINATELY THE PLACE FOR YOU.

IF NOT HAPPY WITH SOMETHING. EXPRESS YOURSELF AND THEY WILL FIX IT BEFORE U WALK OUT THE DOOR!

GREAT STAFF AND STUDENTS. GIVE THEM A CHANCE I WOULD DEF GO BACK!!!!!!

Bad service, not worth the money whatsoever. My friend and I both went for a spa manicure and a spa pedicure. The students were very nice, but did a bad job. They went through the motions of doing the mani and pedi, but didn't work on the feet at all, didn't file the nails nicely, nothing. I could have done what they did at home and saved myself $60. Also, I got my nails done and its day 2 and they are already chipping and I will have to remove the polish tonight. I've gone to other beauty schools before (Aveda) and would highly recommend them over Scott Lewis. I will not go back. Don't waste your time or money, either go to another beauty school or pay full price to get the full treatment that will last longer than a day.

Scot Lewis is Horrible!. Their staff was unfriendly and ruined my hair. I will never go back and I am telling everyone about my bad experience.

GREAT VALUE!. If you are someone like myself... on a budget.. then this is the place for you. The students are great and instructors are always there to check the work. I've been to another school... I will not mention any names... and walked out looking like a clown. I live in Minneapolis... but it's well worth the drive!! Thanks Scot Lewis!!!
