Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

I love a huge burger and skin on fries that are crispy and seasoned on the outside, soft on the inside and I was very impressed when I found both of these at my visit to this particular Outback in Coon Rapids. The problem is with this location. You are not going to be able to drive by on impluse and pull in. Unless you know how to get there, off of Hwy 47, you are not going to be able to get to the place very easily

When your hungry this is the place. The food was fabulous and the wait staff was wonderful. I will definitely be going back, even with my kids.
