Please know that I have received great
service at the Bloomington location for years. This past week, however, I received outstanding service that I simply had to share with you.
I've been taking my car to the 494 and France location since I moved to Minnesota over 10 years ago. I've been so happy with the service that I receive there that I have recruited my fiance, sister, best friend and several of my clients as loyal Bobby and Steve's customers. Typically I prefer to work with Nate Anderson. He is always cheery, knowledgeable, understanding, kind and accommodating. Please be aware of what a valuable employee he is. However, every occasion where I have dealt with another employee at your Bloomington location I have continued to experience excellent customer service. There was the time I blew a tire on the way to work the Saturday morning before Christmas... I needed to be at the store that I manage to open it on a very profitable day. Your tow truck driver (I wish I could remember his name) came to me as fast as he could, hooked up my car, raced me to the Mall of America so that I could get there in time and then took my car back to the Bloomington location for repair. Another time my little sister was heading out of town for the holidays when we noticed one of her tires was almost flat. I followed her to the Bloomington location, where Nate was able to get tires onto her car very quickly so that she could get out of town before the big snowstorm hit. I can't even remember all of the times that the guys have come over to The Mall to pick me up when my car was done being serviced, or have tried to rush around to get parts so that I wouldn't have to go very long without a car. My fiance and I live in North Minneapolis but we never mind coming down to Bloomington for our mechanic needs.
A few weeks ago my compressor and some kind of AC fan went out (sorry I'm not more detailed with the specifics of this situation; I rely on Nate to translate to me when it comes to car stuff) and Nate was able to get a used compressor to bring the price down... which I consider great advice since I was planning to sell the car soon. Unfortunately the replacement compressor broke again only a couple of weeks later. Nate was off getting married this weekend so when I brought the car in on Thursday I was working with either Eric or Dan. The company that had supplied the faulty compressor was willing to cover the cost of the replacement part but not the labor involved. I expressed my disappointment to either Eric or Dan (I think Eric) and he was able to speak to somebody and get the labor covered too. When I picked my car up the next day Dan was very accommodating and even remembered who I was before I introduced myself, even though I usually work with Nate. As a manager of a large and fast paced store, I can understand that accommodating one customer may seem like a small gesture. But doing right by the customer, however small the gesture is, can have a big impact. Situations like this are the reason that my fiance, my sister, my best friend, several of my clients and I regularly get their auto work done at Bobby and Steve's in Bloomington. Additionally, I work with the public just a few miles down 494... I send people who are from out of town to your location all of the time.
As somebody who works for a company that prides itself on the customer experience, I know how valuable great employees are when it comes to running a successful business. The employees at Bobby and Steve's in Bloomington are by far some of the greatest providers of customer service I have ever met. Very special thanks to Nate (I should have written in years ago complimenting his excellence), Eric and Dan. These guys are fantastic, and I will happily spread the word about them.
I want to express to you what Great Customer Service you gave to me and my daughter on the repair of her Jaguar! It was very much appreciated! You never know what to expect when it is two women asking for help from a service station. When my daughter got out of school last night, we came over at about 10:15pm. Everyone was very nice and her vehicle was fixed the next morning. We really appreciate the loaner car for her to get to school in the next day too. Thank you again for your awesome Customer Service!
Great Job, guys/gals at the shop! I got an oil change and had my car detailed. When I got it back, it was immaculate!! For the affordable price, I will definitely be bringing it back in for more services. Thanks again for your quick and superb service, Bobby & Steve's! I will be passing on the good word to everyone I know.
Hello! I just wanted to send you guys a big thanks for repairing my 2005 honda accord last night. Although it was a small task such as adjusting a nut on my upper control arm, it has been one of my biggest headaches and biggest weight off my shoulder. I have been dealing with this "unknown" pulling in my wheel for months and vibration that nobody seemed to be able to figure out, they all just assumed it was an alignment issue etc. I took it to your facility as a last ditch effort to get it figured out, and of course, you did what I thought you would do within minutes! Your shop is a little out of the way since i live in Eagan, but, I have had nothing but good luck from your facility and will now make you my repair shop of choice and go the extra distance... I think my mechanic was Mike but i'm not 100% sure. Thanks again for your knowledge and experienced mechanics!
I've never had better service than at Bobby & Steve's in Edina. They are so thorough and detailed when it comes to simple tasks, like oil changes and tire rotations. One of their best services is picking up and dropping my car off at my work place. It's unbelievably convenient! Great place.
Great service even on Labor day! My car had a blowout and they were able to replace the tire in just over 30 min. I am extremely happy with the friendly and caring service. I will continue to bring my car here any time it needs service or gas.
Thank you for your professional and efficient service on Independence Day this year. I brought my Chrisyler Town and Country in for a last minute oil change and it could not have been done faster. I would recommend you to all of my family and friends. Thanks again!
Boby and Steve's auto world has gone new lows.. These folks are making good business in twin cities area for nearly 30 years i believe and individual owners had become wealthy. One of the old practice of trap and tow your vehicle for lucrative business in expanse of innocent victim. Boby and Steve of france ave is just that they are absolutely the new low life scrambling for the last shredded $. Park by the bulding next to cowboy jacks never been a problem for the building owner before but these low life's have gone to the building management and offer free tow should there anybody park there to entertained at CB jacks Boby Steve must have there share $$ by towing it cross the 494 and charging you $182 and City or State leting it happend. Shame on Bloomington/Edina City. I have they choke taking those who work very hard earn and when comes to weekend these guys are hiding behind the building to take your $$$.. Poor and very old business practice of scammer. This is 21st century and we have to live with dishonest folks right on the exit of France and 494..
These guys need some Customer Service Training!!! THEY DON'T LIKE TO TOW BIKES! When you're broke-down you need HELP and COMPASSION, not "Our Policies"
Bobby and Steves ruined my car and refused to take responsibility for it. They over torqued my crank shaft bolt which broke and ruined my entire engine just slightly over one year later. Do not take your car to this over priced garage.
