They take money and you do all the work. This adoption agency sounds like a great idea. However... 1. They charge much more for home studies than others. Be wary. 2. If you plan to adopt from the US, they're "nationwide search" really means only five agencies. Depending on your background and pocketbook, only 1-2 of those agencies may be available to you.

3. For US adoptions, they don't promote you in any way. They just send your profile to other agencies. This is not worth their $3,000 fee for this service. My husband and I have wound up contacting the other agencies directly.…

Crossroads rocks!. We completed two foreign adoptions through Crossroads and they were always very helpful. Our counselor walked us through all the paperwork (there is a lot) and was a joy to work with. Whenever we needed assistance Crossroads was always available to help. They were also very fair with fees. All in all, great to work with.…
