Will definitly order again!. Just ordered lunch from there for the first time ever. Had sweet & sour chicken and that was the best chicken ever. All white meat chicken which I like and it was not bit's and pieces, nice larger pieces. The sauce was a little to sweet but still very good. The egg rolls are ok, not the best I ever had, but they were not overly greasy or anything just lacked flavor. Will definitly order again. Oh and don't go there with a check/credit card cash or check only!

Great family restaurant. The difference between Lai Inn and your typical chain restaurant is the atmosphere and service. During hard economic times, I tend to hold back on going out to eat. However, Lai Inn is my exception. Whenever I go there I feel like I'm not only benefitting myself but am making a contribution to a family business and feel apart of their success. Walking into the restaurant is like walking into the family's home. It's very professional yet very intimate. The lady who is there serving is gracious and appreciative, and I feel like any purchase I make is not just coming out of my pocket but rather going to towards a business that is well deserving of every dollar it receives.

The food is just as it would be at a family restaurant in the middle of a Chinatown, greasy yet surprisingly satisfying. And their cream cheese wantons are astounding! There are about 14 for less than $6 and they are absolutely delicious! I have seen people call in to order just wantons (and I have done it myself as well). The portions of their main dishes are just right and there always seems to be a little extra to take home.

All in all, this family restaurant in a little stripmall at the edge of Bloomington is a pleasant surprise, and I don't mind using a little out of my monthly budget to help support this wonderful place.
