In Short – From sports fans whooping it up at the bar to kids playing at tables and high booths, Green Mill is a rambunctious scene. The decor is surprisingly nice, given the family-friendly vibe: mahogany wood paneling, decorative glass dividers, brick walls and artsy glass light sconces. Most everyone comes for the pizza, whether it's deep-dish, stuffed or on a cracker-thin seasoned crust. Other dishes include seafood pastas and hot Italian subs.

- Chicago-style pizza is the specialty and deserves recognition, especially the Il Primo version piled with spicy Italian sausage, pepperoni, roasted mushrooms and four cheeses.

We had a great meal and enjoyed our servers upbeat attitude and prompt service. The restaurant appeared to be all new. Even though we had to wait 10-15 minutes for our table, the bar was roomy and a nice place to wait and have a drink. Much improved since the last time we dined at the Green Mill.
