Gfriend & myself went to try this as we live nearby. Our server was rather curt, point blank, unsmiling & not offering options (like dressing options with the wings), whereas interaction with other wait staff was more pleasant. We went during 'happy hour' (4-7pm). Tasty features daily specials as well as minor discounts on appetizers during 'HH'. While I did not order any alcohol & my friend had a soda, the attentiveness to refills by our server was non existant-we had to ask another server for our refills. Food wise, we ordered 'wings' & I ordered a cup of soup du jour; Chicken w/wild rice & Pizza. The happy hour/appetizer menu wasn't exactly 'bargain'...just a buck or two maybe a little more off select menu app-items. We had the option of ordering 'drummies' or 'wings', the difference in price was like 5.75 for drummies and 6.75 for wings. There was a variety of about 6-7 coating sauces available-mild to hot. What we got was a mix of wings and drummies in the mahogany sauce, a slightly smokey, sweet bbq type sauce with a little more bite than teriyaki. I asked our server what types of dressing came with the wings, "ranch", ok, I guess ranch it is. When they arrived, I was somewhat surpised at how small they were. I'm used to Buffalo Wild Wings. I thought Domino's had small wings..but these were small, and they were mixed. Prep was done ok though. Celery was nice and crisp and the sauce flavorful. The Chicken wild Rice soup was almost a bisque. Tasted like chicken broth with milk or cream. There were a good deal of veggies but no chicken. The flavor was appealing, not outstanding. I've had better & I've had worse and that seems to be a repeating theme with the food here. The rice was split, it did not really resemble typical long grain-very little chicken to be found. Ordered a Tasty variety 'za, toppings:(sausage,C bacon, fresh shrooms, onion, grn Peppers) a LG for a 20.00. Gd thin crust & toppings, shrooms very thin. It was good but more 'OK'.

I admit that I'm biased - this is in my neighborhood, and some friends meet here weekly on Thursday nights. Ther servers know us by name, and have our drinks ready when we walk in. With that being said, there are pros and cons that you should be aware of. Pros: the pizza is great - try the Tasty special or canadian bacon/onion/mushroom. Keep the toppings simple, and the crust will shine. The patty melt is solid (I ask for extra onions and waffle fries) and their soups are always from-scratch and delicious. My boyfriend likes the spaghetti, although it's not really my style, it looks good. Service is solid, and the jukebox is fantastic. The cons? It 's smoky. SMO-KEEEE. If you're sensitive to smoke, sit in the dining side. The other parts of the menu can be average to subpar - the other burgers can get a little dry, avoid the broasted chicken and house salad (order caesar instead). We're Tasty's regulars, so we'll keep coming back (bar bingo on Sundays, whoo hoo!).

Tasty Pizza is such a welcome addition to our neighborhood. I have tried most of the things on the menu and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is friendly and Gordy the bartender is the epitome of efficiency. This is an ideal spot for a casual lunch, dinner or for just a cocktail or beer.
