The best pizza, lasagna and salads available. Deep dish pizza is to die for. The crust must be made entirely of butter. It's perfectly spongy and not super doughy so that you have to sprain your jaw trying to chew through it. Tons of sauce and cheese. Might be my new favorite pizza of all time.

Hometown pizza joint is a favorite stop for everything from post-T-ball parties to late-night study sessions.. In Short
The numerous locations are clean but not fussy. You can get in and out fast, but it's alright to linger. Order at the walk-up counter, grab your pebbled plastic pop glass and head for a table to wait for your name to be called. Hand-tossed, thin-crust and deep-dish pizzas with rich tomato sauces feature traditional toppings. A variety of hoagies utilize pizza ingredients in creative ways (pepperoni in the club, peppers and olives in the veggie).

Davanni's is the BEST pizza I've ever HAD!!!!. I'm originally from Illinois, and I went to Minneapolis in 2000 for vacation. I tried their pizza for the first time, and was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how good it was (actually was the best I ever had...and trust me, I've eaten a LOT of pizzas!). I came bact to Minneapolis in 2004, and immediately came BACK to Davanni's and it was STILL as good as the first time I had it. LOL, me and my wife ordered it another 3 times when we were in Minneapolis, and if we ever come back to town, we'll go there again!

Great Pizza, Dynamic Service. I went to Davanni's upon seeing its number 3 rating in the Citypages 2002 ratings. I requested something not necessarily "on the menu". I went with pepperoni, canadian bacon, and garlic. Garlic wasn't listed, but I really enjoy garlic on pizza. Usually, pizza places use some canned overly sweet preserved garlic. Davanni's in Golden Valley chopped up the garlic fresh and made perhaps the best pizza I've had. Their deep dish Chicago style is top notch.

Unique combo of great quality & fast. Excellent Pizza. My fave pizza is the veggie deep dish pizza. Garlic Lovers: Try white sauce instead of red for interesting variety.

Absolutely the best!!!. Without question, Davanni's has the best pizza hands down. The thing that makes their pizza "rise" above the others, is the crust. Secondly, the red sauce is extremely above average. No heartburn from this pizza. Also, try the "White Pizza". The olive oil and garlic sauce on this pizza is truly an experience. If you haven't tried Davanni's, do so asap. You will not be disappointed.

ISH!!. Blah sauce, sparce toppings, cardboard crust and that's just the pizza. The hoagies are good but where's the meat?

No Fries. I am from Pa, My husband is from MN and my personal thought is these pizza's beat out all I have eaten before, they are so delicious!. the only thing that would make this better is being able to order french fries with it.

the only negative side to this restrauant is they dont offer a menu for little kids, if it wouldnt have been for Wendy's next door our son wouldn't have eaten.

High quality, low price, fast & friendly. Davanni's pizzas stand out for being uniquely flavorful, yet consistently good, night after night, year after year. And yet, they just might take a back seat to the hot hoagies that no one in the Twin Cities has come even close to replicating in 30 years. Add the very friendly staff (they really do seem to enjoy their job) and its one of the few solid bets you can make on anything these days.
