Can Skip This One. Took us 45 minutes to get the dogs and burger we ordered. Vienna beef dog was the smallest I have had. Chicago dog came with no relish and no celery salt. Burger was overcooked. Chili cheese fries were undercooked. Overall very underwhelming. Chris & Bob's in Fridley tops it. Smashburger far surpasses the Wienery.

BEST HOT DOG EVER! Great prices!.
Wow! I don't consider myself an expert in hot dogs, but I know a good one when I taste it. This place is an absolute MUST for anyone who likes hot dogs and quirky places. I'll be real honest about the atmosphere...it is a straight up dive! The seats are in poor condition and I wouldn't recommend wearing formal attire by any means. It doesn't even matter though, I kid you not.
A friend of mine and I saw this place featured on the Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" and, as I love that show, I vowed I would visit The Wienery. We did this past Saturday and I was blown away. First of all, I had positive sticker shock when I saw the menu. A hot dog, with anything you want on it, is only $2.50 and other types of meats aren't much more expensive than that. That's really rare in the Cities, if you want quality.
I ordered the "Manhattan" which is a Chili Cheese dog complete with homemade chili (made daily I do believe), a Vienna beef frank, cheddar cheese, and onions. I ordered without the onions and found this to be the best chili cheese dog I've ever had! The hot dog itself was perfect (as weird as that sounds), and the homemade chili was so perfectly bold and balanced. And you can forget stale, crusty hot dog buns as well because this bread was the perfect balance of soft and crisp and it didn't get soggy from the chili. I probably could've eaten two or three! I will most definitely be going back there as a regular and taking as many friends there as I can. Fantastic!!!

Best Dogs This Side of Chicago..... I've been looking for a great hotdog places in the cities for years. Finally I stumbled upon this place. It's hot dog heaven! Many vanities of hot dogs. The homemade fries are awesome! The staff is very friendly. They make you feel like your visiting their house. The environment is cool.
