Fancy U of M building with a full menu of music, dance and laughs.. In Short
Past the dolomite columns and grand portico on this massive 1929 structure, the interior is huge (more than 4,000 seats) and fairly nondescript. What's most impressive is the variety of acts. Jazz and dance are the mainstays, but indie rock and contemporary Christian musicians perform here too--although the seats are close together and don't allow room for dancing. Visiting lecturers and stand-up comics also fill the strobe light.
