Cat Man Do is small and cozy, offering up only a handful of tabletops. And most nights the little spot is hopping, as the din of diners and scents of spices like tumeric, cardamom and ginger fill the room. Soft, stained-glass lighting and deep red and blue walls provide a relaxed ambience, and the delicious, authentic Nepalese food provides numerous reasons for return visits. Curry dishes and the traditional Choyla--a spicy, marinated chicken dish popular in Nepal--are always favorites. And the dumplings are a must-try.
